Huvadhu Atoll, Atoll in the Maldives

Historically known as Suvadiva, it has a past marked with a rebellion against the central government.
Known for a distinguished seafaring and shipbuilding culture.
Can be reached via sea plane or boat from Malé.
Home to some of the oldest Dhivehi script on coral stone tablets.
