Dudhsagar Falls, Waterfall in Goa, India
Dudhsagar Falls is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River in the Indian state of Goa.
The name 'Dudhsagar' translates to 'Sea of Milk', which many believe is an allusion to the white spray and foam that the great waterfall creates as it cascades into the waters of the Mandovi River.
The falls are part of the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary and are a popular tourist attraction, especially during the monsoon season when they are at their most spectacular.
Visitors can reach the falls via a dirt road from the village of Collem, or by taking a train to the Dudhsagar stop.
At 310 meters high and 30 meters wide, Dudhsagar Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls in India.
