Virginia Cascades, Waterfall in United States of America
Virginia Cascades is a series of small waterfalls located in the Yellowstone National Park.
The cascades were named after the wife of Charles Gibson, an assistant park superintendent in the early 20th century.
These cascades have been immortalized through vintage Yellowstone postcards.
Visitors can view Virginia Cascades via a scenic drive off the Grand Loop Road.
Unlike many waterfalls, Virginia Cascades flow over a long, gentle grade, creating multiple mini-cascades.
