Reichstag dome
Reichstag dome, Dome in Germany
The Reichstag dome is a large glass dome at the very top of the Reichstag building in Berlin.
Constructed in 1999, the dome serves as a symbol of German reunification.
It offers a 360-degree view of Berlin and reflects daylight onto the debating chamber below.
Visitors can ascend to the roof and view the cityscape from the accessible dome.
Unlike most domes, it's made of glass and designed to direct sunlight into the building.
